2012 CWPA Southern Division All-Conference Team Announced

The 2012 CWPA Southern All-Conference teams have been announced and even though the Princeton Tigers easily rolled through the conference schedule they landed only two first-team players which is one less than the Brown Bears who were the runner-up in the league.

Overall, Princeton and Brown had four players on the first- and second-teams to lead the league. Coach of the year went to Brown's Frelix Mercado who did a good job this year in leading Brown to second place in the regular season and conference tournament.

2012 CWPA Southern Division all-conference team:

Player of the Year: Katie Rigler (Princeton University)
Coach of the Year: Felix Mercado (Brown University)
Rookie of the Year: Taylor Barnett (Bucknell University)

First Team

Evan Cranston (Goalie) - Brown University
Madison Pepper - Brown University
Kate Woods - Brown University
Katie Rigler - Princeton University
Devan Kennifer - Harvard University
Molly McBee - Princeton University
Megan Walker - George Washington University

Second Team

Kristen Ward (Goalie) Princeton University
Audrey Zak - Princeton University
Taylor Barnett - Bucknell University
Julianne Valdes - Bucknell University
Lisett Calderon - Mercyhurst University
Sarah Presant - Brown University
Elise Molnar - Harvard University
