London Olympics: Sports Illustrated Predicts Medal Count, No Gold For United States Water Polo

The Summer Games are finally here and Sports Illustrated's Brian Cazeneuve predicts the medal count for every country in every single Olympic event. He has the United States winning 110 total medals which would be the most but he has them tied with China for the most gold medals with 42.

As for water polo he does not predict either the men's or women's team to come away with gold. He predicts the United State's women's team win silver and no medal for the men's team.

Men's projected results:

Gold: Croatia
Silver: Serbia
Bronze: Italy

Women's projected results:

Gold: Australia
Silver: United States
Bronze: China

The big surprise on the men's side is not having Hungary medal at all even though they have won the past three Olympic gold medals. However, the men's side is extremely wide open. As for the women's side I am not sure how any team could be picked ahead of the United States since they have been so dominant over the past four years.
