Stay connected for news and updates

Hazing is part of team sports, and making players carry others equipment as well as dressing up in various outfits. Well, the Miami Marlins were playing the New York Mets this weekend, and the rookies had to dress up in various outfits and parade around Times Square on Thursday prior to their weekend series.

The Marlins went a completely different way when making players dress up in embarrassing outfits, and this year's crop of rookies were forced to wear speedos and dress as the U.S. men's water polo team.

The photos were sent out on twitter by Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton and via Larry Brown Sports.

This was just an excellent idea for them to be wearing Team USA speedos, and the blue shoes are also a nice touch. The rookies seem to be having a fun time posing for pictures in the water polo outfit.
