Before a large crowd at UCLA's Spieker Aquatics Center, the Bruins defeated the Cardinals 9-5 and improved their record to 23-2 (5-0 MPSF). The Cardinal is now 14-5 (2-3). Scoring for the Bruins were Paul Reynolds (2), Chris Wendt (2), Josh Samuels (2), Daniel Lenhart, Griffin White, Lucas Reynolds. Goalie Matt Rapacz saved 9. Nick Hoversten (2), Bret Bonanni, Alex Bowen, B.J. Churnside scored for the Cardinal. Scott Platshon had 4 saves for Stanford.
