2012 WWPA all-conference teams announced

With the regular season in the books, the WWPA announced their 2012 all-conference teams.

The 2012 WWPA conference tournament begins this weekend, and the league announced this week their all-conference, and all-freshman team.

The player of the year was UC San Diego drive Josh Stilling. This is a surprise since he missed a month of action, but he still scored 66 goals, and he scored five goals in five different games. Pretty remarkable for a player who missed a chunk of the season.

UC San Diego was the leagues regular season champ, and they had five players named to the all-conference teams. Plus, Chase Cockerill made the all-freshman team. The six total players was the most in the WWPA. LMU came in next with five and then Air Force had four.
