In the opening round game of the 2012 WWPA tournament featured one upset on the day when No. 6 Cal State Monterey Bay won 10-9 over No. 3 Cal State Bakersfield to move onto the semifinal round where they will face No. 2 seed UC San Diego.
There was to be video highlights posted, but for some reason the WWPA has set their YouTube videos to private with the exception of the 12-8 victory by Colorado State over Bernardino.
The semifinals are set with LMU taking on Cal State East Bay and then Cal State Monterey Bay vs. UC San Diego. The likely title game is going to be LMU who has yet to lose a game in league play against host UC San Diego.
