The defending men's CWPA Eastern champions Princeton Tigers are in a great position for 2012 as they get to host the upcoming Eastern Championships on Nov. 16-18 at DeNunzio Pool. This is the first time that a defending champion gest to host the tournament since 2008 when the Navy Midshipmen were awarded to host.
Princeton is expected to be a contender to win the Eastern championships, and if Princeton can do so they will be going back to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year and three of the past four years.
The setup for the tournament remains the same with top four teams from the Northern and Southern division will square off for a chance to go to the NCAA tournament. The game time schedule is still in the very early stages and will not be finalized until the regular season gets underway in late August or early September.
