2012 NCAA Water Polo Rankings, Week 2: Movement At The Bottom

For the second straight week, the Collegiate Water Polo Association poll had very little movement. The top 17 spots stayed exactly the same. One surprise was that Princeton who was blown out by UCLA and Cal this past weekend were still able to hold down their No. 13 spot.

There were a few teams getting a different amount of votes in the top 10 compared to last week, but USC was able to still hold onto their death grip on their top spot.

The teams that did move in the rankings were Concordia College moving up one spot to No. 18 and Brown dropped to No. 19. Brown went 3-1 this past week with their only loss come in a 14-8 loss to UCLA, while Concordia was off this past weekend. That was the only ranking change in the polls, but there could be some movement next week as the first big tournament occurs at Stanford as they host the NorCal tournament.
